Lithium Ferrous Nano Phospate (LiFePO4) is an intrinsically safer material than used in previous generations of Lithium Ion batteries. Only under extreme heating (generally over 800 °C) does breakdown occur and this bond stability greatly reduces the risk of thermal runaway.

We’ve extensively tested the batteries on the bench and in our bikes (on road, off road and on track), and we know that they’ll get you started time and time again. Charge straight from the vehicles charging system using a standard Optimate type charger.

Our quality assurance process ensures that each battery is 100% load tested and fully charged before it's dispatched to you, so you can just plug and play.

If you’ve ever owned a battery for more than a couple of years, you’ll know that Lead Acid batteries don’t last forever, and neither do ours, however we do know they’ll last at least 2-3 years, especially if you look after them. In fact, a properly looked after a Racing Battery will last far longer than a Lead Acid unit

Using a Racing Battery on the road requires a little extra care as they don't carry the excess Amp Hours that a Lead Acid unit does. The primary (and perhaps only) issues, as with all lithium batteries, are the alarms and stray current drains. Racing batteries don’t like being drained to absolutely flat and left in the garage in an uncharged state, however as long as you ensure the optimate is attached within a week, your bike will be happy and ready to go! You may also find that the battery life is prolonged if it is isolated when not in use.”. Likewise, you'll damage the battery if you leave the headlights on and the engine off for more than 10 minutes or so.

But don't just take our word for it - Racing Batteries are tested, approved and supplied to a growing number of racers worldwide.
